Okay, maybe hilarity didn't ensue, but Christmas has definitely hit The City.I took a stroll down to Union Square this evening to take in the sights and walk off a rough and difficult day, and was richly rewarded. The tree was magnificent as always (and, of course, environmentally friendly courtesy of PG&E), and Macy's has continued its recent tradition of accepting donations to sponsor a light on the tree for $10, to benefit the UCSF Children's Hospital.
